Burford House & Gardens

Seven acres of gorgeous gardens in a beautiful setting, and a very pleasant place to stop for lunch. Also worth seeing is Burford Church next door. Only a mile from Tenbury Wells, so you could easily see both in an afternoon.

Severn Valley Railway

This old-fashioned steam railway makes a great day out. You can ride from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and back again, making all the “choo choo” and “toot toot” noises you desire. A highlight is crossing the River Severn on the 200-foot single-span Victoria Bridge.
