I’ve been watching and enjoying Channel 4’s four-headed fun-poker 10 O’Clock Live, even though I can’t actually watch it live because I don’t have a TV.
For the benefit of anyone else who, like me, watches it via the 4OD service, I have cracked the hidden code in the language warnings that precede the show:
- “very strong language” - they’re going to say the C-word this week.
- merely “strong language” - no C-word this week, C-word fans, but there will be some F-words.
So far those are the only two types of language that they’ve had. When other warnings appear, you can be sure that James’s blog will be first with the translations - and if you’re smart, you can even get them via my fully-functional new RSS feed. Or how about using the
