Here’s an uplifting story for a Monday - a man who was so delighted at winning the National Lottery that he decided to get the winning numbers tattooed on his arm:

Wayne Hughes’ new tattoo reads Sat 7th Aug 2010 - 13, 16, 22, 25, 31, 39. He seems like a nice man all round, commenting: “I’m not going to be flash with cash as I’ve never had any,” and revealing that he chose the winning numbers by using the birthdays of friends and family members. Sweet.

The only loser in this situation that I can see is the one friend or family member who the lucky tattoo fan must think has a birthday on the 39th of some month. Don’t count on a bumper lottery-powered present this year, is my advice.
