The singular of WAGs is WOG

A bit of my job as an editor creeps into this blog as I point out the following mistake: the singular of WAGs isn’t WAG, it’s WOG. Many wives and girlfriends, but one wife or girlfriend, because you can’t be both at the same time (not to the same footballer).
So, Abby Clancy, whoever else she is, is a WOG. Danielle Lloyd is a WOG. Cheryl Cole or Tweedy was a WOG, and may be again. Please inform the relevant authorities. Thank you.
